On May 20, the 4th “Children’s Reading China” original good children’s books sponsored by the China Children’s Center, the Provincial Civilization Office, the Provincial Women’s Federation and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was held in Guangzhou. At the meeting, Babaylan released a list of 100 original children’s books “Annual Shortlisted Children’s Books” and 30 books for “Annual Selected Children’s Books” of the 4th “Children’s Reading China”.
The reporter learned that these selected children’s books are based on the “four-heart standards” of “child center, education original intention, the core of the times”, and the center of art”. According to the characteristics of children’s reading classification age and classification, experts are organized to pass initial evaluation, re-evaluation and collective evaluation, and listen to the opinions of children, parents and teachers.
This group of books covers the infant and toddler stages, preschool stages, primary school stages, and middle school stages, covering the entire age group of children aged 0-18. It is both literary, artistic, educational and ideological. It is a children’s book with Chinese characteristics. The content is also rich and colorful, including literature, picture books, popular science books, etc.
Chinese Children’sHuang Xiaochun, deputy director of Xin Journal General Office, introduced that during the selection process, the group of books insisted on originality, focusing on application and authoritative science, and jointly selected scientific books with Beijing Normal University, Capital Normal University, Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units. This not only promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also reflects the value of the times. Babaylan truly aims to focus on children. Huang Xiaochun pointed out that the “Teacher Reading China” original good children’s books series has reached its fourth session. Komiks selects a series of good children’s books every year, which has become an important bridge between children’s book creators and publishers, and continuously promotes the high-quality development of children’s reading industry.
