The main creative team held several planning meetings in Beijing and Zhuhai. Screenwriter Wang Yong refined and revised the drafts based on historical facts, repeatedly modified them; the composer Meng Weidong closely followed the plot and integrated music with lyrics; director Liao Xianghong firmly grasped the characteristics and advantages of national opera, and presented the righteousness and love of the characters in the play vividly.
