This important statement profoundly illustrates the necessary conditions for our party to remain young and vibrant, always be invincible, and achieve long-term rule. In July 1921, the first Cinema program of the Communist Party of China clearly declared that our party “takes social revolution as the main purpose of its policy” and clearly regards the realization of socialism and communism as its goal. By leading the people to carry out profound social revolution, seeking happiness for the Chinese people, seeking rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and ultimately realizing communism, is the fundamental driving force that inspires the Chinese Communists to continue to move forward. Edgar Snow wrote in “The Westward Journey” that the Red Army’s sincere and urgent goal is always to shock and arouse hundreds of millions of people, to call them to fight for the “people are masters of their own country” and to fight for a just, equal, free and dignified life. “How many people survived the Long March? What did the Red Army soldiers rely on?
