On the morning of September 25, 2017, while on a business trip to teach cadres in ethnic areas, 53-year-old people’s scientist Zhong Cinema died in a car accident. At the farewell meeting of the body, Zhong Yang’s father, who was in his 80s, put forward the only request of his family to the funeral team: “I just hope to write it in the eulogy, ‘Zhong Yang is an excellent member of the Communist Party of China.'”
Being an excellent Communist Party member is the father’s request to Zhong Yang, and it is Zhong Yang’s life belief that he has adhered to. Under this belief, he has been engaged in botany and bioinformatics research and teaching for more than 30 years, and has been aided by Tibet for 16 years. He has traveled more than 500,000 kilometers on the snowy plateau, collecting more than 40 million seeds from thousands of plants, filling the gap in the world’s germplasm resources library. In Zhong Yang, the original intention of Communist Party members to “seek happiness for the people and rejuvenation for the nation” and the sense of mission of Chinese intellectuals to “make China increasingly civilized and prosperous” have been organically unified. Zhong Yang’s life isA life of pursuing dreams is a life of struggle and a life of dedication. Zhong Yang used his life to write the most simple and splendid stories of the times on the vast land of the motherland. As Chen Xiangmei, an academician of the China Engineering Academy, understood by Chen Xiangmei, who said to Cinema, said: “He is truly patriotic and loves every inch of her land. It is precisely the sincere love that makes him not afraid of hardships.” This evaluation is pertinent and appropriate. At the meeting celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that our party has gone through 95 years of history, but we must always maintain the struggle spirit of the Chinese Communists when they were founded and always maintain the innocent heart for the people. This innocent heart was the steadfast of “beheading is not important, as long as the ideology is true” during the revolutionary period, and it was the stamina of “the enemy can only cut off our heads, which is determined not to shake our faith.” This innocent heart was transformed into “in the world, people must do things, and do things that are meaningful and valuable. Doing things for society and the times is the greatest meaning.”
The light of ideals is immortal, and the light of faith is immortal. It is precisely with generations of Communist Party members who have been working hard and never forget their original aspirations that the Communist Party of China has stood out from the situation of initialism and many political parties, becoming the world’s largest political party, and thus rewriting China’s history; it is also with generations of Communist Party members who keep their mission in mind and strive forever that the Communist Party of China can always stick to their whole heart.iks serves the people wholeheartedly, making China the second largest economy in the world.
